Who Am I ... A Dream Chaser
Muskoka Dreamscapes is a work in progress; a constantly evolving idea just like me.
I have lived most of my life in Muskoka, surrounded by water and trees. It has shaped who I am. I wake up in the morning and watch the day unfold. Every day in Muskoka there is something different; some days the differences are dramatic, some days subtle but no two days start the same.
I have always been fascinated by photography. As a child I would snap roll upon roll of pictures until my parents begged me to stop - my development fees were expensive in more ways than one!
The digital camera was a gift from the heavens. It freed me from the price of developing and opened a whole new world. Macro photography allows me to see the big beautiful in the small.
Just this year I was introduced to Spoonflower.com. A company that takes images and digitally creates fabric. My world once again expanded. Here was a way to take my images to the next level, to exercise Frank Lloyd Wright's sentiment that "Form and function should be one, joined in a spiritual union."
So Dreamscapes will continue to evolve and like a Muskoka sunrise each project will be different.
